The Ermineskin Library Media Center is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. every school day. We are open during lunch hour for students to sign out books or work on their AR points. Students must come with a purpose for learning and a library pass for elementary students. Faculty members are welcome to browse and pick up materials in person. Students in the 4th thru 6th grades may check out three books each week. Special permission for more materials may be granted when necessary for an assignment.

Items should be returned after use so that others may use them.

Overdue notices (for students) are given to teachers on a weekly basis when they come to their regular library class. To help students learn to be responsible, no new loans will be permitted until overdue materials are returned. Overdue notices for staff members will be automatically emailed to you. Please contact library staff to renew books.

Lost and Damaged Books

If a book is lost or damaged, the book must be paid for before additional books can be checked out. Debts remaining at the end of the school year may be turned into office and become a part of the student's permanent file. Fines will remain with students until they are taken care of. Special permission may be given to students to allow them to work off their fines by the librarian.
